The 8th edition of the program will be happening in villages near Kutch, Gujarat from<strong> 22nd &#8211; 31st December 2017<\/strong> hosted by Youth Alliance and is in collaboration with Sabarmati Ashram Trust and ESI, Sughad.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/volunteers.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/unnamed.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2914 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/volunteers.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/unnamed.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"945\" height=\"530\" srcset=\"https:\/\/volunteers.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/unnamed.jpg 945w, https:\/\/volunteers.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/unnamed-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/volunteers.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/unnamed-768x431.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 945px) 100vw, 945px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The program aims at developing a deeper awareness of ourselves and the world around us by following our curiosity and discovering new understanding by creating a space to learn, to observe and engage with the diverse realities of our world.<\/p>\n<p>The idea is also to bring ourselves into a rhythm with the surprisingly complex realities and wisdom of rural life, allowing ourselves a platform to begin to think more holistically and to challenge our preconceived notions about Indian rural communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Process of Gramya Manthan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gramya Manthan is rooted in the timeless principles of the circle.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youthallianceofindia.org\/gramya-manthan\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2915 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/volunteers.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/unnamed-2-300x163.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"163\" srcset=\"https:\/\/volunteers.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/unnamed-2-300x163.jpg 300w, https:\/\/volunteers.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/unnamed-2.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The facilitators co-create a space for each\u00a0participant to express her\/his unique self as we learn together.\u00a0Learning happens in three ways:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We\u00a0learn\u00a0<strong>from each other<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We learn\u00a0<strong>with each other<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0We learn\u00a0<strong>from our own self in the company of each other<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To be part of 2017 Winter Edition cohort:<\/strong><\/p>\n<a class=\"omsc-button omsc-custom-hover omsc-size-medium omsc-style-emboss omsc-text-bright\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1QSQwgSm_dZdY1Jm5usraoXzBhBGhRNmsb7ZEFXlJDlg\/viewform?edit_requested=true\" style=\"background-color:#28628e;border-color:#28628e;color:#ffffff\" data-hover-bg-color=\"#ffb511\" data-hover-text-color=\"#000000\" data-hover-border-color=\"#ffb511\">Apply here<\/a>\n<p><strong>Travel &amp;\u00a0Accommodation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Food, stay and all other mandatory requirements during the program will be taken care of<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Participants will have to reach Ahmedabad city by Day 0 night or early morning on Day 1<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Pick and drop facility will be available at the Ahmedabad railway station on specific timings<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Program is open to both Indian and International applicants.<br \/>\n\u2022 Participants in the age group of 18-30 years will be preferred.
