Volunteers.org is India’s largest volunteering platform. In 2013, over 1,25,000 hours of volunteering was channeled across India through this platform. Over 10,000 volunteers are expected to be engaged through the year for causes like Education, Talent Development, Animal Welfare, Beach Cleanups, Park Development, supporting the visually challenged, Civic engagement etc.
Hi5 Club is a social club (an initiative of Bhumi and volunteers.org) that aims to engage the volunteering spirit among the young people across India. To be a part of this club, pledge to do your part and engage yourself in 5 hours of volunteering for an activity of your choice either through our partner NGOs or on some idea you are passionate about. 10,000 young people are expected to contribute 50,000 hours across the country this year through the Hi5 club initiative.
Bhumi is one of India’s largest independent youth volunteer non-profit organisations. Bhumi was chosen as the ‘Leader in Volunteer Engagement’ at the iVolunteer Awards in 2014. Bhumi as a platform will enable over 5,000 volunteers in more than 10 states across India volunteer for causes like education, environment, animals, community welfare etc. in 2014. Bhumi volunteers primarily work amongst over 15,000 underprivileged children in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telengana, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Delhi NCR with the aim of providing children with quality supplementary education to enable them become responsible and productive citizens of the future.
